I followed the instructions to the letter, but the Raspberry Pi won't boot with the new microSD card. Recalbox is really straightforward and once you boot into it, put your roms into the SNES folder and play.

Being a web developer I opened up the xml file and removed the tags, but after openelec saying Retroarch add-on enabled, I try to launch it, but nothing happens.

exe file like this video was saying (I was trying snes9x), but I guess I have to install the emulators. Then I learned it's not enough to point to the emulator. All the games imported fine, but wouldn't launch. I installed Rom Collection Browser, which had trouble downloading game info/artwork until I renamed my crazy romfiles from their default names (like Super Castlevania (U) (!).
